Bao Vang

Prince Bảo Vang of Vietnam, also known as Yves Claude Vinh-San, is the illegitimate son of Emperor Duy Tân.[1] He was born in Saint-Denis, Reunion Island, April 8, 1934.

Nguyễn dynasty

In 1987, Bao Vang escorted the remains of his father Emperor Duy Tân with other members of the royal family to Vietnam in a traditional ceremony to rest in the tomb of his grandfather, Emperor Dục Đức.[2]

Bao Vang serves as Grandmaster of the Order of the Dragon of Annam under Prince Bảo Thắng of Vietnam. The position is non-political in Vietnamese politics and the role of the royal family is concerned with humanitarian, educational and cultural considerations.

Author

In 2001, Bảo Vang wrote a book, Duy Tân, Empereur d'Annam 1900-1945.[3] The author's name is given as "Phuoc Bao Vang Nguyen".
